I invented urban homesteading!

As pertains to my own yard, that is.  This blog is born of someone’s cray-cray attempt to trademark the term, and the gardening/urban homesteading community’s awesome response.

My name is Meg, and I live in the Pacific Northwest with my true love, our infant daughter, and our goldfish.  Also on the premises are an army of dandelions and a bajillion small pinecones.  I have way more enthusiasm than skill.  That should really be my tagline for this blog.

I grow raspberries, rhubarb, blueberries, currants, potatoes, tomatoes, kale, onions, carrots, beets, lettuce, zukes, peas, and garlic.  And beans. Sometimes I get all fancypants and try to grow something difficult.
